“The people from North Mississippi all the way down to the Coast want a better life for their children,” Franks, D-Mooresville, said of his campaign for lieutenant governor.
Franks met with a reporter and editor at The Mississippi Press Thursday to discuss his campaign, which began Monday in his hometown of Mooreville. During the meeting, Franks discussed coastal environmental problems, political ethics and a possible grocery tobacco tax swap.
