Jackson police, city code inspectors and Fire Department personnel were refused entry Tuesday to A-1 Pallet Co. Inc. and told to come back after making appointments.
Charlotte Reeves, who owns the facility at 1000 N. Mill St. along with her husband, Carl Monte Reeves, said they arrived about 10 a.m. to find city staffers trying to enter the grounds for an impromptu inspection along with local television reporters.
