New website at www.touchandvote.ms.gov
Secretary of State Eric Clark today announced that new voting machines will be on display for interested Mississippians in 20 towns across the state on Friday, August 25.
“This ?Bank Visit Day’ is another part of our effort to let every Mississippi voter try out the new machines before the general election,” Clark said. “We heard an overwhelmingly positive response after the primary elections in June, and are continuing our voter outreach work through November.”
Clark’s Touch & Vote Mississippi (see www.touchandvote.ms.gov) program allows Mississippians to see and use the new voting machines before election day. To date, Clark’s office has visited 79 counties and conducted approximately 750 events at everything from church socials to fish fries to senior citizens meetings to training events for election officials.
