MELTON RESPONDS TO HARVEY JOHNSON’S SELECTION OF DEBATE NEGOTIATORS
(Jackson)-Democratic mayoral candidate Frank Melton responds to the selection of debate negotiators from Harvey Johnson:
“First let me say that I am really looking forward to these debates. While we certainly respect the representatives Harvey Johnson has chosen, it is yet another glaring example of his overplanning to underexecute and just another excuse to procrastinate. I will be glad to meet personally with Harvey Johnson to work out the details man to man so that there is not hiding behind surrogates and no miscommunication. I welcome that opportunity as it will be a good time for the both of us to get together and reaffirm both campaigns’ commitment to run a clean and above board campaign.”
