Wrap up on the statewide races from the runoff election

Incase you missed some of the other statewide races from the runoff election on August 27, here are the results.

Governor

Tate Reeves beat Bill Waller Jr. for the GOP nomination during the runoff, he will face Democrat Jim Hood in November.

Attorney General

Northern District Transportation Commissioner

John Caldwell secured the GOP nomination over Geoffrey Yoste.

Central District Public Service Commissioner

De’Keither Stamps took the win over Dot Benford for the Democratic nomination. He faces Republican Brent Bailey in November.
