Congressman Trent Kelly has been nominated for promotion to Major General by the US Senate. Governor Tate Reeves still must finalize the promotion.
Senator Roger Wicker congratulated Kelly on the nomination.
“Congratulations to my good friend, Rep. Trent Kelly, on his promotion to Major General in the Mississippi Army National Guard! Last night the Senate voted to advance his promotion. I was glad to support his confirmation at a Senate Armed Services hearing earlier this week,” read the post by Wicker.
