Tate Reeves endorsed by Mississippi Right to Life PAC

By: Sarah Ulmer - July 22, 2019

Today, Lt. Governor Tate Reeves announced the endorsement of Mississippi Right to Life PAC, the most prominent pro-life group in Mississippi. Their endorsement is based on candidates’ policy answers to questionnaires and public record on pro-life issues. As Lt. Governor, Tate Reeves has championed pro-life reforms, most recently pushing for the Heartbeat Bill to protect unborn children once a heartbeat has been detected. A few weeks ago, more than 150 pastors and pro-life activists stepped forward to join Tate Reeves’ pro-life coalition. He has also earned the support of the NRA—the nation’s largest conservative grassroots group—and the ACU—the nation’s oldest conservative grassroots group—in recent weeks.

“You have been a champion for the innocent unborn and we are honored to make this endorsement today. It is important for voters to know that we have worked with you and that you are a fearless protector of Mississippi’s unborn children,” said Barbara Whitehead, President of Mississippi Right to Life, in their endorsement letter.

“I am humbled to have the support of this respected group of pro-life Mississippians. I will always protect the innocent unborn and never back down in the face of liberal opposition. They are Mississippi’s most vulnerable, and I will always defend them,” said Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves.
