Donald Trump banks $4 million in New Orleans fundraiser at Joe Canizaro’s home

Donald J. Trump visits Mississippi in 2018, campaigning for reelection.

Donald Trump had a sizable fundraiser at the home of businessman Joe Canizaro in New Orleans this week.  According to reports, over $4 million was raised for the Trump 2020 re-election effort.

Some Mississippi political figures including Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann were in attendance.

Canizaro is the the head of First Bank and Trust in New Orleans and founder behind the Tradition Development in South Mississippi.  He is a longtime donor to Republican political candidates and causes in Mississippi.
