Congressman Michael Guest Joins Pro-Life Caucus

By: Sarah Ulmer - January 17, 2019

Yesterday, Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) joined the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus, a bipartisan organization of House Members that works with pro-life grassroots organizations to promote life-affirming policies and to defend against pro-abortion policies. This announcement comes one day before the March for Life, an event advocating pro-life legislation in Washington, D.C.

“By joining the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus, I join other Members of Congress in our mission to support life,” Guest said in a statement, “In fact, this week I am affirming my dedication to pro-life policies by cosponsoring legislation declaring life begins at conception and by signing a letter to President Trump encouraging his continued support of the pro-life movement and advocating the use of his presidential veto powers should any pro-abortion or anti-life legislation reach his desk.”

Congressman Guest will be able to work with Pro-Life Caucus staff who assist Members in developing legislation, conducting oversight, and reviewing pending legislation to ensure pro-life policies are retained.

See releases to follow for more information on Congressman Guest’s Cosponsorship of the Life at Conception Act of 2019 and the letter to President Trump regarding pro-life policies.
