The president will hold two rallies in Mississippi the evening before the election.
Democrats seen as potential 2020 presidential candidates are campaigning for Espy, who’s a former U.S. agriculture secretary. Sen. Kamala Harris of California was in Mississippi Saturday and Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey is appearing Monday.

CLARION LEDGER – Sen. Cory Booker stumps for Mike Espy in Hattiesburg
A crowd of hundreds overflowed from Luckyday Citizenship Hall at the University of Southern Mississippi Monday to hear U.S. Sen. Cory Booker speak in support of Mississippi U.S. Senate candidate Mike Espy.
Booker, D-N.J., spoke inside the Luckyday Multipurpose room on Southern Miss’ Hattiesburg campus. People spilled outside after the room quickly filled.
Others waited for Booker’s arrival outside.
