Governor Bryant declares a state of emergency for Noxubee County Schools

This afternoon, Governor Phil Bryant declared a state of emergency at the behest of the Department of Education for the Noxubee County School District.

This moves open the door for the Department of Education to appoint a special superintendent and also provides a path for some additional funding.
