House Bill 412
AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI TO OBSERVE DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME YEAR-ROUND; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding how time is advanced pursuant to 15 USCS Section 260a, the State of Mississippi and all political subdivisions of the state shall observe Daylight Saving Time year-round.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2018.
