Palazzo Announces New Chief of Staff
Washington, DC Congressman Steven Palazzo (MS-04) Congressman Steven Palazzo today announced that Mr. Hunter Lipscomb will become his Chief of Staff. Lipscomb previously served as Palazzo’s deputy chief of staff and district director for six years and is returning to the office from the Mississippi Development Authority where he has worked as the director of government affairs.
“Hunter has been a part of my team since the very beginning and has served in a variety of roles both in Mississippi and in Washington. His experience will be an asset to our state, and I am happy to welcome him back as my top advisor.”
Lipscomb replaces Casey Street, Palazzo’s chief of staff for the past five years, who is departing Capitol Hill to pursue an opportunity in the private sector.
“Casey has been a tremendous leader of Team Palazzo. I truly appreciate his dedication to the people of South Mississippi and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
As part of the move, Palazzo’s legislative director, Patrick Large, has been promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff and will serve as interim chief while Mr. Lipscomb finishes a temporary military obligation with the Mississippi Air National Guard.
