Mississippi’s NAACP president visits Meridian
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – Mississippi’s NAACP interim president made a special visit to the Queen City Thursday night.
Charles Hampton came to speak with local NAACP officials about some of the issues and problems the state chapter is working on. Hampton touched on many topics, such as the National Anthem and the state flag protests. Hampton says they hope their new executive director can better educate the public about the issues they’re facing.
