Wicker Discusses Net Neutrality, Broadband Expansion
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., a senior member of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, today questioned a panel of experts during a committee hearing focused on ways to reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens.
Wicker specifically asked questions about the Federal Communications Commission’s onerous net neutrality rules, broadband provider competition, as well as national standards to regulate commercial vessel discharge, such as ballast water.
