Wicker Votes to Confirm Tillerson as Secretary of State
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, today voted to confirm Rex Tillerson to be the next Secretary of State.
“Secretary Tillerson has the experience necessary to help President Trump restore our standing in the world,” Wicker said. “I am confident that he will represent our nation with the dignity and fortitude required of America’s chief diplomat.”
