Paying a woman of equal credentials and results less than a man because of her sex should be illegal.
It already is illegal. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits sex discrimination in employment and the Equal Pay Act of 1963 requires a man and a woman doing substantially equal work to be paid equally.
