Vicksburg Mayor and former legislator George Flaggs (D) confirmed Thursday morning to Paul Gallo on his SuperTalk Radio show that he will seek reelection this spring.
“I’ll qualify (to run for mayor) on February 7th at high noon,” Flaggs said.
Gallo asked Flaggs about a rumor of him possibly running for Lieutenant Governor in 2019, but Flaggs said he would likely retire after his next term as mayor.
