Sen. Wicker tours Pine Belt facility, wants more jobs
Sen. Roger Wicker is spending the week touring the state to talk to constituents and local lawmakers before the Christmas holidays.
One of the places he toured Tuesday was Lowe’s Flatbed Distribution Center in Purvis, where he met with Mayor Roger Herrin and several Lamar County supervisors.
“This is an example of American job creation,” Wicker said. “It’s something that the county officials worked with the Lowe’s corporation, so I wanted to hear how that’s working.”
