Special election for Mississippi House seat today
Polls are open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday in District 72 in parts of Hinds and Madison counties.
The candidates are A. Shae Buchanon-Williams, a Marine Corps veteran; Debra Gibbs, an attorney and former member of the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission; Synarus Green, director of policy and intergovernmental affairs for the city of Jackson; and Theresa G. Kennedy, a businesswoman and credit analyst.
