Ethics Commission rules against Election Commission after open meetings act violated
The Mississippi Ethics Commission ruled on Friday that three members of the Madison County Election Commission violated a number of provisions of the state’s Open Meetings Act during a Dec. 15, 2015, special called meeting.
Those three members include District 2 Commissioner Tammie Hawkins Phillips, District 4 Commissioner Azzie Jackson-Adams, and District 5 Commissioner Pallascene Cole.
