Gov. Bryant hopes for quick special session

State Rep. Lee Yancey suggests that if banning all kratom products outright is not something the Mississippi Senate would consider, there should be an additional layer between the general public and kratom, such as classifying it as a Schedule II substance.

"We will continue to relentlessly champion equal opportunity for all Americans and hold accountable any school or college that violates the rights, privacy, or athletic opportunities of our women and girls," said Secretary of Education Linda McMahon.
