Dept of Rehab Services cutting vocational rehab due to budget cuts

By: Magnolia Tribune - May 31, 2016

Miss. budget cut affects disabled homeowners

Officials with the Department of Rehabilitation Services say the agency will cut vocational rehabilitation and aid to disabled homeowners because state money is falling by 12 percent. That’s about $3 million. Vocational Rehabilitation helps find jobs for people who are blind or disabled. It served about 10,000 Mississippians last year.
