Bay councilwoman hit by vehicle airlifted to New Orleans
WLOX News Now has learned Bay St. Louis City Councilwoman Wendy McDonald has been airlifted to Ochsner Health Center in New Orleans, LA.
McDonald was hit by a vehicle outside of Our Lady of the Gulf Church, where she was attending a funeral visitation Monday morning. Witnesses tell us at least two other people were injured when the driver barreled into a crowd of pedestrians.
