Congressman Thompson asks U.S. Attorney General to file lawsuit about HB 1523
Congressman Bennie Thompson is asking the United States Attorney General to file a federal lawsuit about House Bill 1523.
Thompson, a Democrat, wants Loretta Lynch to file a lawsuit that would declare the bill known as the Religious Accommodations Act to be unconstitutional.
The Congressman, who represents Mississippi’s 2nd district, said he sent a letter to Loretta Lynch about the controversial bill.
