Congressman Harper assessing flooding needs in district

Cong. Harper Addressing Flood Problems over Recess

While Cong. Gregg Harper is in-state for the congressional recess, he says one of his main focuses is assessing the damage caused by historically bad weather.

Harper is hoping for precipitation to ease in Mississippi but the reality is disastrous rain continues to fall. He says some areas of the third district are in worse circumstances than the historic 2011 flood; others are not faring so badly.

Harper says he’s working on the ground to figure out exactly what the district needs as it continues to recover from the devastating weather.
