However, Mississippi is one of only four states in the country in which all the law schools (or in our case, both law schools) have female deans.
Right now, we also have the only female agriculture commissioner in the country who was elected, not appointed.
And judging by the remarks of Cindy Hyde-Smith, Treasurer Lynn Fitch, and other female officials, like state Rep. Alyce Clarke, Mississippi’s state government won’t be a boys’ club forever.
