@HillaryClinton announces Mississippi “Leadership Council”

Hillary for Mississippi Announces Leadership Council

Jackson, MS – Hillary for Mississippi announced its Leadership Council – a group of more than 75 elected officials, community, and grassroots leaders who are building a grassroots-driven volunteer team that will help Hillary Clinton win the Democratic presidential primary in Mississippi on March 8.

Leadership Council members share Clinton’s commitment to strengthening our nation’s infrastructure, raising wages, and protecting civil rights.

“These Mississippians know that, as President, Hillary Clinton will fight to make sure families in Mississippi, and all across the nation, see greater opportunity,” said Hillary for Mississippi Press Secretary Ouida Meruvia. “Hillary Clinton has dedicated her life to fighting for social justice and working to make people’s lives better, especially in underserved communities. She is committed to breaking down barriers that hold us back so that education and job prospects are never limited by things like race, economic status, and zip code.”
