Paul Clever of Olive Branch has qualified with the Mississippi Republican Party to challenge freshman incumbent Congressman Trent Kelly in the First Congressional District.
No information is readily available on Clever as to his platform or goals in this race, however the screenshots below are from 10 months ago on the DeSoto County Democrat website. Clever seemingly intended to qualify for the 2015 special election but did not. On the message board post he calls himself a fiscal conservative and social moderate.
