Justice Jim Kitchens seeks second term on high court
Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Jim Kitchens on Monday filed papers to run for a second term on the high court — the first candidate to qualify for November court elections.
Four seats for the nine-member state Supreme Court will be on ballots for the Nov. 8 elections to eight-year terms. The non-partisan judgeships will be on the same ballots as presidential and congressional races.
