Palazzo says leave flag issue up to voters
HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) – United States Congressman Steven Palazzo (R- 4th Dist.) visited Hattiesburg Friday, just two days after the president of his Alma mater, The University of Southern Mississippi, took down the state flag from campus.
“I don’t like the fact that there are people unilaterally pulling down the state flag that was voted on through a ballot initiative,” Palazzo said. “If they want to see a ballot initiative in 2016, that’s the proper way to go about this.”
