“However, as a father with a young son at Biloxi High School, I think it is important that I lend my voice to OPPOSE Initiative 42.
“This misguided proposal jeopardizes the education of our children in Mississippi, takes away your voice on education issues, and will cost hundreds of millions of dollars our state simply doesn’t have.
“Next Tuesday, vote NO on Initiative 42.”

US and China take a step back from sky-high tariffs, agree to pause for 90 days
The U.S. has agreed to drop its 145% tariff rate on Chinese goods by 115 percentage points to 30%, while China has agreed to lower its rate on U.S. goods by the same amount to 10%.
