Town hall meeting held in Laurel to discuss Initiative 42
The NAACP hosted a special town hall meeting at the Train Depot in Laurel Thursday to discuss Initiative 42.
Organizers said the meeting was held to address controversy surrounding the initiative which will be on the Nov. 3 ballot.
Representatives from Better Schools, Better Jobs Mississippi were on hand to explain, discuss and answer questions for the general public.
