Johnson carries city’s flag on national front
Hernando’s profile rises on the national stage this month as Mayor Chip Johnson completes a bipartisan priorities panel appearance this week with presidential candidates in New Hampshire and prepares for the National Walking Summit during Oct. 27-Nov. in Washington.
On Monday afternoon, Johnson was a panelist, one of only two from the Mid-South, on “A View From the Statehouse and From Down the Street” at a discussion organized by the No Labels initiative in Manchester, N.H.
At least eight presidential candidates were to join No Labels’ Problem Solver Convention.
