“Boring, productive and focused” doesn’t make for exciting political campaigns, nor would policy forums on intermodal transportation programs or economic projection studies on Mississippi River or Tenn-Tom ports.
But as long as Mississippi continues to elect transportation commissioners voters will look for competent conservatives and the three Republican incumbents seeking reelection fit that bill.
