Bryant visits area community colleges with workforce training in mind
Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant called Itawamba Community College and Northeast Mississippi Community College the best community colleges in the state at a press conference at ICC’s Belden Center on Wednesday afternoon.
Bryant visited both NEMCC and ICC Belden on Wednesday afternoon, and he commended both schools, in particular for their workforce development programs.
The visits come following the Mississippi community college system’s ranking as best in the nation by WalletHub.com, an achievement which Bryant recognized at the press conference.
