Hosemann tells Republican women about lawsuit
Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann told a local Republican group Tuesday that he had spent the day surrounded by lawyers.
That’s after supporters of citizen-sponsored Initiative 42 filed a lawsuit Monday in an attempt to have more information about their proposal placed on the Nov. 3 ballot…
…Hosemann also said the Initiative 42 campaign is guilty of very poor timing.
“Some of our counties have already printed their ballots,” he said. “Saturday, ballots go out to the military.
“This could prevent members of the armed services from voting.”
