Getting Your Money Back: Kemper Refund Approved by State PSC

If you’re on Mississippi Power, you’ve probably been waiting for word on how you’ll get your refund from the improper rate increase from the Kemper Coal Plant. Thursday the state Public Service Commission approved Mississippi Power’s plan to credit your bill.

You can also get a check, if you request it.

The refund that was approved was for $350 million. It will be credited to your bill, starting Oct. 10.
