ClarionLedger says Jeppie Barbour position on flag one for “an idiot”

Oh boy

To Jeppie Barbour for his comments at a pro-state flag rally. He told the crowd, “…I don’t see how the battle flag being on our state flag is offensive to anybody.” Really? Even if he disagrees with the symbolism some see in it, only an idiot cannot understand how the Confederate symbol could be seen as offensive to a great number of folks. Too, how ironic is it that we saw as many — if not more — Confederate battle flags than state flags at the rally?
