Denson Challenges Choctaw Chief Election Results
Choctaw, Miss. After a narrow loss, former Choctaw Chief Beasley Denson is making good on his word to contest the results of the election for the new chief.
“We will exhaust every means that we can to see if we can have a re-election,” Denson says.
Chief Phyliss Anderson pulled out a victory by only about 150 votes last week. With those close numbers, Denson said he felt he must stand up for the people who voted for him.
