Prosecutors show Cochran nursing home video, records; declare case closed
CANTON — Despite media reports and social media questions that another may have been involved, authorities say they’re confident they’ve prosecuted all conspirators in the Cochran nursing home photo case, “based on all available evidence.”…
…The District Attorney’s office on Thursday allowed media to view case files, including videos. Numerous outlets including The Clarion-Ledger had requested such records, but only some were released this week — those that were entered into the court file. The DA’s office said it would not release others without a court order, but it allowed media to view the records and videos at length on Thursday. They allowed media to take some “screen grabs” of surveillance video, but citing patient confidentiality, none that showed nursing home patients.
