TSA security flaws uncovered by Homeland Security Test
A recent report on tests of the Transportation Security Administration security by the Department of Homeland Security received a failing grade.
The report revealed that undercover agents were able to smuggle potential weapons and contraband through security checkpoints 95 percent of the time.
Congressman Bennie Thompson, ranking member of the Homeland Security Committee, was very disappointed.
“Supposedly the layered security, when it’s working is doing a good job,” said Congressman Thompson. “This testing was totally unacceptable. Heads have already rolled. I’m certain others will too.”
