Blanton Tries to Stop Mississippi Power Rate Hikes
The Hattiesburg oilman whose lawsuit threw financing plans into doubt for the Kemper County power plant says regulators should block rate increases.
In a Tuesday filing, Tommy Blanton asked the Mississippi Public Service Commission to not enact any of three recent rate plans proposed by Mississippi Power Co.
A Democrat, Blanton, is also seeking the southern district PSC seat.
