Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. across the 39 precincts in DeSoto County in Tuesday’s special election runoff to fill an open U.S. House of Representatives seat.
DeSoto Circuit Deputy Clerk for Elections Marla Treadway said so far, a total of 184 people had cast absentee ballots in the nonpartisan special election runoff between Trent Kelly and Walter Zinn.
The deadline to vote absentee is noon today.
