Bryant appoints McLaurin to Rankin judicial post
Gov. Phil Bryant has appointed John McLaurin Jr. to replace the late Dan Fairly as Rankin County Chancery judge.
In a statement sent Wednesday night, Bryant said McLaurin’s term is effective immediately and that he has “extensive legal experience with heavy emphasis in the chancery court system.”
