Rankin County judge Dan Fairly found dead on Natchez Trace
Rankin County Chancery Judge Dan Fairly was found dead of apparent suicide on the Natchez Trace at the intersection with Mississippi 43.
Authorities found Fairly sometime after 4 p.m. on Friday.
Mississippi Department of Public Safety spokesman Warren Strain said an investigation is ongoing and more information would be available after an autopsy is performed.
