Bill would ban government contracting with Iran-linked firms
JACKSON, Mississippi — Some House lawmakers want to ban Mississippi’s state and local governments from contracting with anyone who does business with Iran’s oil and gas industry.
The House Appropriations Committee Thursday passed House Bill 1127, sending it to the full House for more debate.
