Madison Co. Circuit Clerk not seeking reelection to 7th term

Westbrook won’t seek 7th term

Circuit Clerk Lee Westbrook will not seek re-election, ending a 30-year career with Madison County and six terms in office, she announced.

Prior to her election as Circuit Clerk in a special election in November 1994, Westbrook served as secretary to the Board of Supervisors.

“The time has come for me to enter another phase of my life and begin to slow down and appreciate the time I have left,” she said. “It has been an honor and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with my family.”
