Veteran Jackson County Circuit Clerk Joe Martin not seeking re-election
PASCAGOULA, Mississippi — Longtime Jackson County Circuit Clerk Joe Martin announced today that he will not run for re-election this year.
Martin is in his 36th year in that office and joins other veteran county leaders in not running for office this year like Chancery Clerk Terry Miller, Tax Assessor Benny Goff and Tax Collector Joe Tucker….
…Martin is the lone Democrat elected to a county-wide position.
