Governor touts business friendly state
Citing reports that show Mississippi as a good place to do business, Gov. Phil Bryant kicked off his Mississippi Works tour at the MSU Riley Center in Meridian on Friday before a crowd of business leaders and elected officials.
“If you look at the best place for a doctor to practice medicine in America for two years in a row, Mississippi has been number one. We are in the top ten for economic development states in the nation,” Bryant said. “That’s something that people are unfamiliar with.”
